What better way to celebrate a memorable occasion in the true British fashion than afternoon tea.
It’s a tradition that’s truly part of English history, dating back to the 1800’s, evolving from a mini meal to stem the hunger of the evening meal usually taken at 8pm.
Afternoon tea traditionally is served between 3-5pm and compromises of finger sandwiches, scones, jam & cream and finished with a selection of cakes and sweet treats, all helped down with a delicious amount of tea, popularised by King Charles II and his wife.
SweetNess HomeBakes can cater for all events, so whether it’s a birthday, wedding, baby shower, hen party or celebration of a life well-lived, we can cater for you in the comfort of your own home or at your chosen venue.
We create the perfect experience setting up your event, taking away the stress and knowing everything will be ready for you and your party guests to enjoy, using all of our carefully chosen vintage crockery.
We can set up and leave you to enjoy a 2-3 hour time slot and come back to clear away for you, or we can we can fully staff your event.
